As a Data Science major and Communication minor, Callie has undertaken an independent study on how to craft compelling visualizations that not only educate, but also challenge viewers’ preconceived notions. She will discuss strategies and best practices for effectively communicating data and for evaluating how visualizations influence audience perception.
