Students and others are welcome to join in making the community belt.
Family-owned business, Fire Loom Creations, creates custom beaded loomed belts for people to wear at ceremonies, traditional weddings, and graduations. Showcasing pieces for public display in museums, schools, and libraries. They have made over 200 beaded loomed belt and travel to do demonstration work at museums, host workshops and tours, and create community belts within schools and departments. Like historical wampum belts, these beaded belts hold personal, symbolic designs that represent the person wearing it. Each unique piece we create shares a life story.
