The SLU String Orchestra & Friends, directed by Christian Hosmer, presents Music at the Movies: Take Two!, a program of popular film music selections originally scheduled for spring 2020, and rebooted for 2022!
Music scheduled to be performed includes music from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Lord of the Rings, Titanic, The Greatest Showman, Star Trek, and others, directed by Christian Hosmer.
Film music scheduled to be performed includes music from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Ant-Man, Moana, Legends of the Fall, Avatar, Mulan, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Titanic, The Greatest Showman, Star Trek, and others. Woodwinds, brass, and percussion join the SLU String Orchestra to form a full symphony orchestra for several selections.
