Interested in learning how to use your voice to advocate for the ideas that matter to you? Guest scholar, Dr. Alex Davenport, is hosting an advocacy workshop for SLU students who want to learn how to harness their voices to advocate for a better world.
You’ll learn about and practice skills that draw on aspects of public speaking and aesthetic performance. Then, you’ll share your new skills in a showcase.
Advocacy work can be challenging and tiring, so join us for a day of hope and community. Connect with people who share your desire to have a positive impact on the world and walk away with practical strategies to advocate for the world you want.
Students who participate in the workshop will be served a free lunch.
Please sign up for the workshop using this form to help us gauge interest in this event. But you can join the workshop even if you don’t sign up!
