eduroam now available on campus
St. Lawrence University is now a participating eduroam institution. Eduroam allows St. Lawrence faculty, staff and students to connect to the Internet at all eduroam institutions using their St. Lawrence email address and password. It also allows users from other eduroam institutions to access our Internet with their campus credentials.
- A St. Lawrence faculty member is attending a conference at Dartmouth College. As St. Lawrence and Dartmouth are both eduroam members, the St. Lawrence faculty member can connect to the secure eduroam wireless network at Dartmouth using their St. Lawrence email address and password.
- A Boston University student is visiting a friend at St. Lawrence. As St. Lawrence and Boston University are both eduroam members, the Boston University student can connect to the secure eduroam wireless network on our campus using their Boston University credentials.
Connecting to the eduroam wireless network ensures you are on a secure connection while visiting member institutions. St. Lawrence users will still need to connect to the VPN when off campus and connected to the eduroam network to access St. Lawrence campus-only resources. Users on campus, connected to eduroam will be able to access campus-only resources similar to being connected to slu-wifi.
Visit https://www.eduroam.us/ for a list of U.S. and international member institutions.
