Start now to build an electronic portfolio in Sakai documenting your teaching, scholarship, and service.  PSC prefers this format for submission of materials for tenure and promotion, but there’s no need to wait until then to get started.  A Sakai portfolio site makes a great organizer of materials for an annual or mid-probationary review.

The Lessons tool allows faculty to present content in a more structured way to guide students better through their learning tasks. This session will demonstrate how to use Lessons to centralize and order resources, quizzes, assignments, forums, media (e.g. videos, audios, and images) and etc. so students do not need to navigate around the various tools to find particular items.
