2013-14 Classroom Updates

Related Service:
Overview:

Our major priority this cycle was meeting a need for additional midsize lecture classrooms by developing two tiered lecture spaces — Bewkes 302 and 303 — in the Bewkes Hall area which housed the General Chemistry Lab before the completion of the Johnson Hall of Science in 2007.  The rooms are currently configured for 43 students, but could easily accommodate up to 48.  Our other projects were focused on making low-cost, big-impact changes to spaces identified by our faculty as most in need of attention, and bringing technology to a few spaces in Griffiths Hall which are not traditionally thought of as teaching spaces but are getting more and more use by classes.
