Connect to Wireless: eduroam

Overview: 

Connect to eduroam on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 and Mac.

Wireless Internet is available in all buildings on the St. Lawrence main campus. We recommend that all students connect to eduroam rather than guest or other wireless networks to ensure your data is safe. It is in violation of the Acceptable Use of Computing Resources policy for students to use wireless routers or wireless printers on campus.

Details: 

Windows 7:

  1. Click on the wireless icon in the bottom-right corner
  2. Click on eduroam and click Connect
  3. Enter your St. Lawrence email address and password and click OK
  4. When the "Windows Security Alert" comes up, click Connect

Windows 8:

  1. Open the Right Menu by either swiping in from the right edge of your screen or hovering your mouse cursor in the lower right side of the screen
  2. Choose Settings
  3. Click on the wireless icon
  4. Click on eduroam and then Connect
  5. Enter your St. Lawrence email address and password
  6. Click OK

Windows 10:

  1. Click on the wireless Icon in the bottom right corner
  2. Click on eduroam and click Connect
  3. Enter your St. Lawrence email address and password and click OK

macOS

  1. Click the wireless icon in the menu bar at the top right
  2. Choose eduroam
  3. Enter your St. Lawrence email address and password
  4. Click Connect
