Panelist Biographies

Kristin Clough Canty P'19

Proprietor and Owner, Woods Hill Table

Kristin Clough Canty P'19, Proprietor & Operator, is a nationally acclaimed filmmaker; farm owner; avid supporter of small farming, nutrient dense and ancestral foods; and the owner of the Boston area farm-to-table restaurant Woods Hill Table. Known for her documentary, Farmageddon – The Unseen War on American Family Farms, and a much sought after speaker on a range of local food and farming issues, Canty’s restaurant, Woods Hill Table is the culmination of her passions: food, family farms, sustainable sourcing and ancestral health. Working in tandem with Canty’s Bath, NH farm – The Farm at Woods Hill – and other small scale purveyors, Woods Hill Table celebrates the ancestral diet through sustainable sourced local ingredients and utilizing “the whole animal” approach. The menu features grass-¬fed proteins, sustain-ably caught fish, raw milk cheeses, locally grown and soaked organic grains, raw fermented foods and organic produce to deliver nutrient dense dishes that employ the best ecologically viable ingredients available.

Kristin received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Boston College and a Master of Arts degree in Speech Language Pathology from George Washington University. She lives in Concord, MA with her husband, Jim Canty and their four children.



Jill Murphy Castle P'18

Chief Business Development Officer, Weber Shandwick

Jill Murphy Castle P'18 is chief business development officer for Weber Shandwick. She is responsible for leading initiatives to help build the Weber Shandwick brand and develop new and existing client relationships. She is focused on driving client development efforts with the vast IPG and McCann-Erickson WorldGroup companies. Formerly, Jill was executive vice president, account services, where she built qualified client service teams to bring the best resources to clients.

Jill joined Weber Shandwick in January 1990. Prior to this she was an account supervisor with Rand Public Relations, a Shandwick Company, where she specialized in consumer and healthcare marketing. Jill developed and implemented national public relations programs for clients including Kraft General Foods, Oscar Mayer, Tambrands, Smartfood, The Culinary Institute of America and Lexis Pharmaceuticals. Jill received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism from Ohio Wesleyan University.



William Doble P'07, '10

Founder and Partner, Dodge Ski Boots

William Doble P’07, ’10 is the Founder and Partner of Dodge Ski Boots in Essex, VT. Dodge Ski Boots is the maker of world's only high-performance carbon fiber ski boot. Started in a Vermont barn in 2009, Dodge Ski Boots have achieved success on the prestigious World Cup race circuit, with Masters racers and recreational skiers all over the world. Prior to founding Dodge Ski Boots, Bill led sporting goods start-ups HeadFirst Sports and Alliance Design & Development Group and the music division of Cabin Fever Entertainment. His background includes marketing positions in winter sporting goods, packaged goods, and entertainment. Bill received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History, and MBA in Marketing from the University of Vermont.



Patricia Greene Isen P'18

Director of Home Development, Tory Burch

Patricia Greene Isen P’18, Director of Home Development for Tory Burch, is a retail industry veteran with over 30 years of experience working for such names as Bloomingdale’s, Harper’s Bazaar, Calvin Klein, and Anthropologie. She also created, owned and operated a retail consulting company, Patricia Greene Isen LLC.

Patricia received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Wheaton College, and began her retail career in the Bloomingdale’s training program before moving on to Harper’s Bazaar as the Sittings Editor. As Director of Domestic Licensing for Calvin Klein, she was responsible for all licensed products, including the marketing, merchandising, and packaging of all lines. This experience led her to the creation of her own company, Patricia Greene Isen LLC, where she consulted on licensing merchandise and store design with such brands as J. Crew and Calvin Klein. Her work at Anthropologie as the Director of Special Projects provided the opportunity to work with buyers and designers while traveling throughout the world to collaborate with artists. For a number of years, Patricia held this role concurrently with her position at Tory Burch.



Robert Rich III '89

President, ROAR Logistics, Inc.

Robert Rich III '89, President of ROAR Logistics, Inc. founded his company, ROAR Logistics, Inc., in 2003 with three associates and led his team to becoming a leading North American Third Party Logistics provider with 70 associates, 6 offices nationwide and agents in over 90 countries. Over the companies 13 year history, he has been responsible for numerous acquisitions and the development of a growth strategy which has gained ROAR recognition as one of the fastest growing companies in Western New York. Bob has served on many local and national boards, including Food Shippers of America, CSCMP WNY Chapter, World Trade Center Buffalo, and WNY United Against Drug and Alcohol Abuse. Bob graduated from St. Lawrence University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Psychology and received his MBA in Business Administration from Canisius College in 1995.



Adam Seiden '89

Managing Partner, Northwestern Mutual NYC Park Avenue Office

Adam Seiden ’89, Managing Partner, leads the Northwestern Mutual – NYC Park Avenue office. Adam began his career as an entrepreneur with his first business venture being a local and regional shuttle company in Western Maine, which he sold in the late 1990’s. He began working for Northwestern Mutual in 1999 and qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table in 2002, and every year since. Adam became a Field Director in 2002, the Director of Development for The Boston Group in 2006, and joined the Home Office in 2008. He has held multiple Director level roles within the organization and in 2015 assumed the role of Managing Partner of Northwestern Mutual – Park Avenue. The Wealth Management Firm is home to over 100 Financial Advisors, has $36 billion of life insurance in-force, manages $4 billion in assets, and serves over 41,000 clients.

Adam graduated from St. Lawrence in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He lives in Darien, CT with his wife and children.
