Panelist Biographies

Marc Amigone '07

Senior Social Media and Content Marketing Manager at ACIS Educational Tours, and Business Development Manager at GoPlay Sports Tours

Marc Amigone '07 is the Senior Social Media and Content Marketing Manager at ACIS Educational Tours, and Business Development Manager at GoPlay Sports Tours in Boston. Originally from Buffalo, Marc followed his older brother, Daniel '05, and father Nick '71, to St. Lawrence. While at St. Lawrence, he played four years on the Varsity Squash Team, wrote for and became an editor of The Hill News, studied abroad in Kenya and Tanzania, and played in the jazz ensemble. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Performance and Communication Arts with minors in Music and African Studies.

After graduation, Marc moved to New York City where he worked in journalism, PR and marketing for two years. He then moved to Buffalo and worked in customer service at a Biotech company before moving to Thailand for six months to work at a yoga resort. After returning from Thailand he moved to the Greater Boston area and began working at HubSpot, a marketing software company in Cambridge. Marc left HubSpot to begin a position with ACIS Educational Tours on their marketing team and leading business development for their sports division, GoPlay Tours. He lives in Somerville, MA with his fiancé and enjoys practicing yoga and traveling. Marc is always happy to lend a helping hand to St. Lawrence students and alumni looking for information or experience in the fields of marketing and communications.



Amelia Bell Bryson '10

Attorney, Office of the Solicitor at the U.S. Department of Labor

Amelia Bell Bryson '10 is an attorney with the Office of the Solicitor at the U.S. Department of Labor in Washington, D.C. where she works on litigation to enforce federal labor and employment laws. Before joining the Department of Labor, Amelia worked on fair work scheduling, minimum wage, and child care policy as a Women’s Law and Public Policy Fellow at the National Women’s Law Center. After graduating from St. Lawrence and prior to attending law school, she worked for Senator Jeff Merkley (D-OR) on civil rights and labor policy issues.

Amelia graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and African Studies. While at St. Lawrence she studied abroad in Kenya and was a member of the women’s crew team. She received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2015.



Carey Kaiser '14

Analyst, Morgan Stanley



Carey Kaiser '14 is an analyst at Morgan Stanley in prime brokerage sales, based in New York City. She supports senior firm members in the initiative to win new business from hedge fund clients for both the prime brokerage platform and the broader equities and fixed income divisions. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, she completed a 2-year rotational analyst program at UBS.

Carey graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. While at St. Lawrence, she participated in the New York City Program, interning at Angelo, Gordon during her time in the City. Additionally, she was a Career Services intern, participated in Investment Club and was a member of ODK and Phi Beta Kappa.



Alissa McCaffrey '13

Senior Associate, Leavitt Partners

Alissa McCaffrey '13 is a Senior Associate at Leavitt Partners, based in their Washington, D.C. office. She helps support individual clients and health care coalitions through primary and secondary research, policy analysis, and project management. Alissa’s work is focused on issues related to health care reform, the transition to value-based payments, and pharmaceutical supply chain security. Prior to joining Leavitt Partners, Alissa was a Summer Associate at Jeffrey J. Kimbell & Associates where she provided strategic health policy analysis and regulatory support to life science industry clients. She also worked at the Connecticut State Senate where she conducted public health research for state policy makers.

Alissa graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and History. While at St. Lawrence, she studied abroad in Spain. She received her Master of Public Health, with a concentration in health policy, from the Yale School of Public Health.



Evan Smith '08

Senior Regional Account Executive, The Hartford Financial Services Company

Evan Smith '08 is a Senior Regional Account Executive at The Hartford Financial Services Company based in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating in 2008, Evan worked for the Hartford in their New York City office until 2013. He then moved to Philadelphia, PA where he currently resides with his fiancé Emily, and their four year old golden retriever, Heath. At St. Lawrence, Evan was a four year member of the varsity Crew Team, president of Pi Sigma Alpha (Government Honor Society), and a member of Omicron Delta Kappa. Evan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and French, and studied abroad in Rouen, France in 2006. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and mountain climbing. Evan is a native of Lancaster, PA.
