Courses currently taught on a regular basis are listed within their distribution theme.  Seminar (SEM), Independent Project (IP) and Laboratory (LAB) courses are designated within each theme.  Special topic courses may count toward a distribution theme and/or the Seminar requirement as indicated in their course descriptions.  Other Courses do not count toward any distribution theme.  Students must have at least a 2.5 overall GPA to enroll in either independent study (471, 472) or independent research (497, 498).
