Ryan Hutton

Ryan Hutton was born in Fairhope, Alabama, but moved with his family to the western slope of the Teton mountains in Victor, Idaho at a young age. He pursued skiing, snowboarding, and whitewater kayaking while growing up in the west, but travelled east for college to attend St. Lawrence University. Ryan graduated Cum Laude from St. Lawrence University in 2021 with a degree in Religious Studies and a minor in Spanish Language. Throughout his time at the university, he held multiple student positions in the Outdoor Program as a guide and employee for the department. Ryan’s background in outdoor education, both for personal enjoyment and professional development has brought him back to the Outdoor Program in the capacity of Graduate Assistant Program Coordinator for the Outdoor Program. He will simultaneously be pursuing his Master of Arts in Leadership from St. Lawrence University and working to support students, faculty, and community members in a professional capacity through the St. Lawrence University Outdoor Program.
