Kim Hissong '94

Kim Hissong was appointed Vice President for University Advancement on June 6, 2024. With an impressive 25-year tenure at St. Lawrence, Kim's commitment to her alma mater is unwavering. She has been a key leader in the University Advancement division since 2014, most recently serving as Associate Vice President. Her instrumental role in the Campaign For Every Laurentian, which raised $232 million during her tenure, is a testament to her success. She has overseen major gift fundraising, alumni relations, annual giving, advancement operations, and donor relations, demonstrating exceptional relationship-building skills in her work with the Alumni Executive Council. As Vice President, Kim oversees  all aspects of development and alumni relations.

Prior to joining St. Lawrence, Kim worked for four years as the executive director of a non-profit advocacy and counseling organization based in Canton, NY, and has served on several non-profit boards and foundations.

Kim is an alumna of St. Lawrence University and grew up in Canton where she lives with her family, including her son, Jack.
