What’s one thing prospective students/families shouldn’t miss on their tour?

As a student, the third floor of the Sullivan Student Center was one of my favorite places to do homework. The Student Center becomes quieter the higher you ascend. The third floor is the quietest floor, making it easier to concentrate and focus. It's also just a short walk down to the North Star Café (or "the Pub") for a snack, a cup of coffee, or even just a break between study sessions.

What opportunity should every Laurentian take advantage of during their four years on campus?

Every student should use the WORD Studio in Owen D. Young Library. It's a resource center where a team of your peers helps you revise and edit your writing pieces and presentations for class. No matter the length of your paper or where you are in the writing process, they'll help you edit and elevate your work. 

What is your favorite North Country adventure? 

Growing up in Brooklyn, NY, I never thought I'd enjoy skiing. Trying to balance myself while wearing skis was completely new to me. As I gradually made my way down the bunny hill at Titus Mountain, I saw my partner speed down the Face and I became more determined than ever to learn how to ski. I am already looking forward to the next season.
