Erin Stickney
Erin Stickney joined St. Lawrence University in July 2024 as the Assistant Director of Marketing and Content Strategy in University Communications. She serves as the team’s social media specialist and brings experience in public relations and public radio to the role. Erin contributes to the University’s outreach and engagement efforts by sourcing and crafting compelling multi-media content that is shared across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and more.
Erin graduated with a degree in technological communications from SUNY Canton in May 2024. During her studies, she completed an internship with SUNY Canton’s Public Relations Department, where she assisted with various marketing campaigns, including the "People Like Me" initiative on the university’s website. Her role also involved managing social media and contributing photography to enhance the college's visual storytelling.
Before joining St. Lawrence University, Erin gained valuable experience at North Country Public Radio, where she published a variety of pieces. Her background blends traditional communication strategies with digital media expertise.
In her current role, Erin works closely with the content strategy team to enhance St. Lawrence University's brand presence, connect deeply with diverse audiences, strengthen community engagement, and support the University’s biggest goals.
