Janeil Speid

Janeil Speid from Portland, Jamaica, is a senior majoring in Computer Science and Business in the Liberal Arts. She is a member of the Woodcarving, Esport, Outing and Carefree Black Girls clubs. She participated in the LINC Mentor Program during her sophomore year and wishes to participate in the SLU Connect program this semester. Over the summer and the past semester, she received the Project for Peace Award, which she used to equip Port Antonio High School in her hometown with technology and books to build a computer lab. Additionally, she worked with PwC and uAspire as consultant in an externship role. She also served as a tech developer in an internship role for SEO.  Janeil is interested in pursuing a career in the technology and/or business industries.
