Nineteenth Century Collections Online

Full-text, fully searchable content from a wide range of primary sources. Includes monographs, newspapers, pamphlets, manuscripts, ephemera, maps, statistics and more.  Archives published in the program include works in Western as well as non-Western languages and are sourced from rare collections at libraries and other venerable institutions from around the globe. Each individual archive within Nineteenth Century Collections Online presents the raw materials scholars require for their research needs.

PubMed

PubMed comprises over 22 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. PubMed citations and abstracts include the fields of biomedicine and health, covering portions of the life sciences, behavioral sciences, chemical sciences, and bioengineering.

Rand Corporation

Over 10,000 books and research reports are available for download. RAND Corporation is a nonprofit global policy think tank first formed to offer research and analysis to the United States armed forces by Douglas Aircraft Company. It is currently financed by the U.S. government and private endowment, corporations including the healthcare industry, universities and private individuals. The organization has long since expanded to working with other governments, private foundations, international organizations, and commercial organizations on a host of non-defence issues.

Women Writers Project

Women Writers Online is a full-text collection of early women’s writing in English, published by the Brown University Women Writers Project. It includes full transcriptions of texts published between 1526 and 1850, focusing on materials that are rare or inaccessible. The range of genres and topics covered makes it a truly remarkable resource for teaching and research, providing an unparalleled view of women’s literate culture in the early modern period.

Center for Research Libraries

Located in Chicago, CRL collects and preserves archival documents from developing regions such as Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America. CRL currently houses over five million journals, newspapers, government documents, archives and dissertations produced primarily outside of the United States.

Faculty and students at member institutions are invited to borrow these materials for three month loan periods, with unlimited renewals.
