Pre-health club focuses on further developing students understanding of various opportunities in the Health Care field. Students have the chance to participate in several panels about on campus research, study abroad, EMT services, and learn about the Health Coaches program. As a pre-professional club we also participate in volunteer opportunities focusing on health. This is club is open to all students and even students who are not necessarily interested in a pre-health career are welcomed to join.
• Blood Drives: we organize two blood drives per semester with the American Red Cross
• St. Baldrick’s Clip for Cancer: This is an event we do during the spring semester.
• Participate as a group in events on campus such as Shawna’s Walk, Relay For Life etc.
This club offers the students the ability to expand their knowledge of programs and connect with other professionals in their field of interest. This group meets every other week where we discuss events, host speakers such as representatives from medical schools talking on admission etc. and plan events.
