Laurentians and the community at large are invited to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights.
Each November, we celebrate International Education Week at St. Lawrence University. This year we begin the week-long event with Diwali, which is celebrated in Nepal, India, other countries and the diaspora, with much joy and gusto.
The celebration on campus will include performances, food, henna, and sale of items from Nepal.
The event is organized by ASIA and Literacy for Nepal and sponsored by ISS, Asian Studies, Chaplain's Office, CGC and Student Life.
