The Richard F. Brush Art Gallery Has Been Selected to Participate in a Risk Assessment and Emergency Preparedness Program

The Richard F. Brush Art Gallery at St. Lawrence University has been selected to participate in a Risk Assessment and Emergency Preparedness Program, partially funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities. The program is administered by the Conservation Center for Art & Historical Artifacts to assist with identifying potential threats to the Gallery’s permanent collection, and to offer strategies for mitigating them.

Associate Professor of World Languages, Cultures & Media Alessandro Giardino's "The Caravaggio Syndrome: A Novel" was reviewed in "The Observer," a recognition that speaks to the novel’s literary and scholarly depth.

Letter-writing Event: “Dear North Country”

The Richard F. Brush Art Gallery and the English department are hosting “Dear North Country,” an in-person letter-writing event on Wednesday, February 26, at 7:00 pm in the Noble Center Ireland Lounge. The event is part of an international project called "Make Visible"–an ongoing, community-led project developed by New Zealand artist, curator, and activist Shannon Novak.

St. Lawrence’s NYC Program Kicks Off Spring 2025 Semester

The Spring 2025 semester of St. Lawrence's New York City Program is officially underway, bringing together a distinguished cohort of 12 highly motivated students. Throughout the semester, these students will complete full-time internships across the city from Monday through Thursday while also enrolling in two academic courses.
