Why did you become an OL? I became an Orientation Leader so I can share all the hidden secrets of St. Lawrence with new students. Incoming student often time, are unaware of all the great opportunities available to them, whether it be in different organizations on campus, Greek life, student government, Career Services, academic departments, study abroad programs, or the Canton community and so much more. Secondly, I want to be a resource for new students. Their first year will be filled with questions and unknown, I would like to be part of their transition. I want to help new students love St. Lawrence as much as I do and help them in any way that I can.
Any advice to First Years? My advice for first year students is to take advantage of every opportunity that crosses your path while at St. Lawrence. You have nothing to lose!
Favorite thing to do at SLU? My favorite thing to do at SLU is to take a trip to the Adirondack Mountains. Just a short drive away with breath of fresh air can do wonders before exams and give me a much needed break from papers.
Favorite food item on campus? The Pub cookie, of course!
Fun Fact: I studied abroad in Amman, Jordan, the land of falafel and humus!
