Read the information below carefully.
In order to petition to participate in Greek recruitment, you must be at least a sophomore (defined as having completed a full year at St. Lawrence) or be a second-semester transfer student with sophomore class standing or higher. First-year students who enter with prior college credits and first-semester transfer students are not eligible for recruitment.
Students may petition if one of the two circumstances below applies:
1) You have a 2.5 or greater GPA and at least 8 course credits
2) You have 9 course credits or greater, and have a 2.45-2.49 GPA
Individuals with fewer than 8 course credits are not eligible to petition, regardless of GPA. Individuals with a GPA below 2.45 are not eligbile to petition regardless of course credits. Individuals who fail to meet BOTH the GPA and course credit requirement (i.e. 8.5 credits with a 2.48 GPA) are not permitted to petition. If any of these apply to you, you should not complete this form.
All students who wish to participate in Greek recruitment must also pass a judicial check.
