Fall 2012 Sociology Student Forum: Sharing the Study Abroad Experience

Sociology students who studied abroad in the spring and summer 2012 presented sociological analyses of their experiences during a reception on September 27. (Kate Mahar); Saints in Kiwiland: A Semester in New Zealand (Alina DeCarolis); Effects of Tourism among the Maasai and the Hadzabe (Jen Sanford); All of We is One: An Analysis of Race Relations in Trinidad and Tobago (Shaneequa Castle); My Experiences in T&T: An Island of Diverse Religious Practices (Frances Carreon); Americani a Firenze (Sheila Eastman); The Makings of a Strong Black Woman (Star-Quana Jackson); Ethiopian Parenting: A Community Effort (Josh LaMay); Alem Children’s Support Organization (Alexandra McCormack); and additional presentations on Ethiopia by Holly Noyes and Dan Kent.
