I write to share that retiree Pauline G. Leonard, 84, died on September 1.  Pauline was a manager in Dana Dining Hall from 1963 through her retirement in 1995. Cindy Atkins remembers that Pauline  “loved the SLU students and would make sure they behaved properly while eating their meals.  She especially was well liked by the staff.”

Pauline was a member of the Grief Support Group in Canton and the Canton Senior Citizen Club. She loved being with her family and friends and living in Florida in the winters.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, traveling and going to garage sales.

Among those who mourn her death is her daughter-in-law Shayne Leonard, principal clerk in Brewer Bookstore. Your own memories and reflections may be posted on our Memorial web site at https://www.stlawu.edu/president/memory-pauline-leonard

Her family has let us know there will be no services. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation, 8085 Saltsburg Road, Suite 201, Pittsburgh, PA 15239.
