Tom has been with the University since 1992, first serving as the Director of Planned Giving before being promoted to Associate Vice President for Development in 2002. In 2006, he also became campaign director for Momentum St. Lawrence. Tom became Director of Principal Gifts and International Philanthropy & Senior Philanthropic Advisor in 2012, expanding his role to promote engagement efforts with international Laurentians and advise on strategies to enhance St. Lawrence’s involvement with donors. In 2014, he became Senior Associate Vice President for Advancement/Director of International Philanthropy, reflecting his sustained focus on international efforts and continued administrative management responsibilities for the offices of planned giving, corporate & foundation relations, and principal gifts. As of July 1, 2014, Tom was promoted to Vice President for University Advancement, overseeing all aspects of development and alumni relations.
