Sara received her A.A. in Liberal Arts at Rochester Community College in Minnesota and then her B.A. from Carthage College with a double major in German and Communications. She studied abroad for one year in Tuebingen, Germany as part of her undergraduate career, and then returned to Germany for graduate school, where she completed an M.A. in Intercultural Communications and European Studies at Fachhochschule Fulda. She originally came to St. Lawrence University in 2002 as the Assistant Director of Off-Campus Studies. After taking a break from her professional life to be a full-time mother, she was excited to return to campus in 2012, this time working with the incoming international students as the Coordinator of International Student Services.
