Since 2007, Meg Bernier Keniston has worked in a variety of roles within higher education. She joined St. Lawrence University’s Communications team in 2012 and now serves as the Director of Marketing and Content Strategy. She is responsible for promoting and strengthening the visibility, stature, and reputation of the University and actively positioning it with key constituents and critical audiences. Meg leads brand research, manages strategy for critical enrollment marketing efforts, and manages the University’s content and web strategies. She is also responsible for managing the University's branding and licensing partnerships. Prior to working at St. Lawrence, she worked as the Public Relations Coordinator at SUNY Canton, as an Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Admissions at Clarkson University, and as St. Lawrence's Sports Information Graduate Assistant.
Meg has presented at several regional and national conferences, including SUNYCUAD, Confab HigherEd, AMA Higher Ed, and the Higher Ed Experts’ Social Media Conference. Her social media work and publications efforts have helped earn St. Lawrence national recognition from the CASE Circle of Excellence awards program, as well as regional recognition from CASE District II.
Meg graduated from St. Lawrence in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in English and a minor in Educational Studies. In 2009, she earned a master's degree in Educational Leadership from St. Lawrence.
