Among other work experience, I have spent many years working in human resources and recruiting before attending graduate school to pursue a Master’s of Science in Mental Health Counseling. After Graduating with honors from Capella University in 2012, I initially counseled in a private practice and then transitioned into several different mental health clinic settings. Throughout graduate school, I was able to work in a college setting in various roles which led to the discovery that working with college students is my passion. I use an eclectic approach to counseling students which depends upon their belief system and therapeutic goals. I strive to meet students where they are and offer unconditional support, honest feedback and therapeutic tools with the ultimate goal of helping the students experience at St. Lawrence University to be positive and successful.
