Favorite thing about St. Lawrence: I love that our faculty and staff all take a vested interest in not only the intellectual education of our students, but the development of the individual into a person that cares about the world around them.
Favorite spot in the North Country: The Stoney Creek Ponds outside of Tupper Lake, only a short distance from campus where I grew up hiking and fishing during the summer.
Favorite restaurant in the North Country: The 1844 House - once you've had dessert there, you'll agree!
Tip for incoming first-year students: As a 1996 alum, I have only one regret - I never took advantage of all the wonderful opportunities to study away from campus. Whether studying in London, doing the Adirondack Semester, traveling to Kenya or one of the other options, there are many programs to choose from. Begin the next four years with a plan which includes taking advantage of this terrific opportunity - you won't regret it!
