Erin M. Colvin
Greetings, my name is Erin M. Colvin and I am the Associate Director for the Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) at St. Lawrence University. I arrived at SLU in November of 2007 to work with HEOP. In addition to working in HEOP, I taught in the First-Year Progam fall 2018 in a course titled - Native Americans: Yes, They Still Exist!
I have an MEd in Educational Leadership from St. Lawrence University with other graduate degree coursework that was completed at Syracuse University (2000-2003) as well as graduate research for four weeks in Ireland and England through the University of Arkansas in 2003 . I earned a BA from Oswego State in Communication Studies and studied a semester abroad in London, England.
When I am not in Canton, I am usually traveling on weekends to see family or friends. I have a rescue labradoodle, Molly McMeghan (named by SLU students), and three adorable nephews that are my world. I love an adventure and recently traveled to the Grand Canyon and was able to check that off my bucket list. In my spare time (if there is any left), I enjoy creating/designing/decorating cakes.
I also love the North Country and all that it has to offer. Whether it's Friday night hockey at Appleton Arena, a trip to the Adirondacks or dinner in Canada - there is never a lack of things to do.
