Dan completed his undergraduate degree from SLU in Environmental Sociology in 2000 and completed a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership in 2008. An Outdoor Program guide and active Outing Club member as a student at St. Lawrence, Dan went on to guide in Yellowstone National Park, Bridger-Teton National Forest and the Wind River Range in Wyoming. He has been fortunate to explore whitewater as a raft guide in Kenya, a whitewater canoe guide in Ontario and Quebec, and to lead kayak trips throughout much of New England, the mid-Atlantic, the western U.S., and most recently, Central America. Dan loves coming home to the amazing whitewater in northern New York, and enjoys sharing these rivers with students. Dan also coordinates Pre-orientation trips for First-Year students and oversees the canoeing and kayaking facilities.
