Colin Loher graduated from Northland College with a double major in biology and outdoor education. Since graduating, he has climbed and skied extensively around the U.S., while working for numerous guide services. Fortunately, for the past 14 years, Colin has lived in the Adirondacks where he has worked primarily for Adirondack Rock and River Guide Service. Colin’s teaching philosophy is grounded in his belief that adventure sports create opportunities for personal growth and awareness. Colin’s wholehearted enthusiasm makes any climbing experience enjoyable. Colin is a NYDEC licensed tier 1 rock and ice climbing guide and has National Ski Patrol Level 2 avalanche, NYS Outdoor Emergency Care certifications. Colin has taken the AMGA rock instructor course.
