As the Associate Dean of Student Life Carol has responsibility for the departments of Career Services, International Student Services and Volunteer Services. Carol began her career at St. Lawrence in 2001 as the Director of Career Services. Her areas of career advising specialty include graduate school and pre-law advising and international student advising. In the area of International Student Services Carol serves as the Primary Designated School Official and Responsible Officer to the U. S. Department of State and manages the exchange scholar program. In addition to her work at St. Lawrence, she also recently served as the President and Executive Chair of the Liberal Arts Career NetWORK, a consortium of 31 highly selective liberal arts colleges across the country. Before coming to St. Lawrence Carol worked in career services at Cornell College (Iowa) and in student activities and judicial affairs at Thiel College. She also worked for several years in retail management. Carol received her doctorate from the University of Iowa, her master of arts degree from Bowling Green State University, and her bachelor of arts degree from Allegheny College.
