Accreditation and Program Approval

• St. Lawrence University is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
• The Teacher Education program at St. Lawrence University is awarded TEAC accreditation by the Inquiry Brief Commission of Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) for a period of seven years, from November 2013 to November 2020.  The accreditation does not include individual education courses that the EPP offers to P-12 educators for professional development, re-licensure, or other purposes.

• In compliance with New York State regulations, all of St. Lawrence University's undergraduate and graduate-level certification programs are approved and registered by the New York State Education Department.
