Summer 2022 Internship and Fellowship Funding Opportunities
St. Lawrence University offers students a wide variety of internship/fellowship/grant opportunities.
In the summer of 2022, students will be eligible for nearly 180 funding opportunities, with more than $700,000 available for stipends and expenses!
Taking part in these opportunities allows you to gain real-world experience, extend your education outside of the classroom and build your resume. CIIS Fellows | Supports student-faculty collaboration on intercultural research undertaken in diverse cultural settings throughout the world | All students who are sponsored by a member of the faculty |
Collegiate Science & Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) | Funded community-based experiential learning activities and mentored research projects that promote access to careers in math, science, technology and the licensed professions, such as law, medicine and other healthcare specialties. | Members of CSTEP |
Data Science Internship & Research Funding | Data Science, including faculty-mentored research, internship funding and fellowships | All students |
Davis Projects for Peace | Funds grassroots projects to be implemented over the summer that are intended to build peace anywhere in the world | All students |
Freeman Foundation Internships | Internships in China | Current FYs, sophomores and juniors (must be U.S. citizens) |
Luce Fellowships | Research projects in the physical sciences and science technologies | Female U.S. citizens or permanent residents with at least a 3.0 GPA |
Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program | Scholars participate in faculty-mentored research opportunities and a seminar in preparation for the graduate school application process. | Members of the McNair Scholars Program |
Public Health Internship Fellowships | Funds internship, fieldwork or research opportunities for students interested in public health | All students |
Saints Start Challenge Grants | Covers housing, supplies/materials and income replacement for a summer project | Current sophomores |
St. Lawrence University Public Interest Corps (SLU PIC) | Put academic theory into practice and gain valuable professional skills, knowledge and contacts while contributing to the mission of North Country non-profit organizations | All students |
St. Lawrence University Fellowships | Supports students in undertaking new initiatives that require special financial support and promotes close student-faculty collaboration outside the regular academic classroom | Current FYs, sophomores and juniors |
Summer Internship Fellowships | Financial support for students in unpaid/underpaid internships or research experiences | All students |
Tanner Fellowships | For students interested in designing and pursuing educational experiences not otherwise available to them | All students |
The Black Laurentian Initiative Fund for Racial Justice and Equity Project (RJEP)
Application deadline: The deadline for submission of projects for Summer 2022 will be announced in February.
