    St. Lawrence University was named to The Princeton Review’s “Best 389 Colleges” list for 2024. Based solely on results from student surveys, the popular rankings publication once again recognized several exemplary aspects of co-curricular and academic life on campus.

    Reunion 2023 may be over, but the memories are forever! Laurentians near and far brought the energy for four days of celebrations, alumni awards, Hall of Fame inductions, concerts, toasts, and endless laughs—all capped off with one last Dana brunch until the next Reunion.

    St. Lawrence Named a 2023 Best Value College by The Princeton Review

    Students seeking a great education with excellent career preparation and return on investment will find St. Lawrence University among a select group named to The Princeton Review’s list of “Best Value Colleges” for 2023. The popular rankings publication narrowed down the list to 209 institutions from a total of over 650 surveyed.

    St. Lawrence University Announces $1 Million Gift to Endow the Director of the Laurentian Singers

    St. Lawrence University has received a $1 million gift from Barbara Christie ’76 to create an endowment to permanently fund the position of the director of the Laurentian Singers and enhance the tradition of choral excellence at St. Lawrence University. In recognition of this gift, the University will name the Director of Laurentian Singers, the Barbara S. Christie ’76 Director of Laurentian Singers.

    In October 2022, Laurentians in the Burlington, Vermont, area helped students acquire professional connections and competencies, obtain information on career and industry options, and explore different geographical work environments.

    Alexa Smith '23 wasn't sure what academic path to choose at St. Lawrence. With the support of her LINC mentor, she followed her passion for English, discovering an aptitude for research and uncovering the powerful impact North Country women had throughout history and the Adirondack park.

    Saints Accelerate Through the Power of Networking and Career Exploration

    The Center for Career Excellence launched Saints Accelerate, a career development and preparation program designed to help students discover various career paths and possibilities, strengthen their networking abilities and confidence, and of course, have some fun.

    Over the past two years, St. Lawrence has added six new bachelor's degree programs across disciplines. These programs represent cutting-edge fields in which graduates are in high demand and future Laurentians will excel thanks to their liberal arts education.
