'Washington Post' Reviews English Prof.'s Book

The Washington Post reviewed a new book written by Paul Graham, associate professor of English, titled In Memory of Bread (Penguin Random House, 2016).

Graham wrote the book after being diagnose with celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder caused by a sensitivity to gluten. In the book, he connects his own experiences with the disease to the broader historical and cultural experiences with wheat, bread and other gluten-containing grains.
