Prof. Receives Best Paper Award at Econ. Conference in China
Guanyi Yang, assistant professor of economics, presented and received the Best Paper Award at the 10th International Symposium on Human Capital and Labor Markets at the China Center for Human Capital and Labor Market Research, which took place from Dec. 7 to 9 at Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing.
Yang presented his award-winning paper, titled “Endogenous Skills and Lifecycle Labor Income Inequality.” He also presented his research at Hunan University on Dec. 11 and is scheduled for a short-term research visit at Renmin University of China in Beijing, starting Dec. 24, during which time he will give a workshop on his recent studies on income inequality.
