Noon in the Chapel Returns with Music for High Holy Days

St. Lawrence University will kick off its Noon in the Chapel concert series with “Music for High Holy Days” at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22, in Gunnison Memorial Chapel. The concert is free and open to the public

The concert will feature Ad Hoc Singers Julia Pomainville, Chris Rediehs and Alexandra Jacobs Wilke, as well as Laura Rediehs on the flute, musician and teacher at Norwood-Norfolk High School and Crane School of Music Martin J. Wimmer, and Sondra Goldsmith Proctor on organ. The music will focus on pieces by composers Debbie Friedman, Robert Applebaum and Herman Berlinski.

Parking for chapel events will be in H-Lot, across from Griffiths Arts Center and next to Vilas Hall. There also will be a drop-off location and limited handicapped parking spaces in front of Richardson Hall and at the front of the chapel. Visit for an interactive map of the campus.
