MLK Service of Songs and Readings Scheduled for Jan. 20

St. Lawrence University's Chaplain's Office will present a service of songs and readings celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day beginning at 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 20. The event is free and open to the public.

This year's theme, “Love is the Way,” will feature powerful readings of challenge and inspiration delivered by President William L. Fox and Vice President and Dean of Student Life Hagi Bradley. The service will also feature several St. Lawrence choirs, including the Ad Hoc Singers, Community Gospel Choir, Laurentian Singers, Singing Saints, Singing Sinners, and the UpBeats.

Parking for chapel events will be in H Lot, across from Griffiths Arts Center and next to Vilas Hall. There also will be a drop-off location and limited handicapped parking spaces in front of Richardson Hall and at the front of the chapel.
