Koch Series in Political Economy Hosts Guest Speaker
The Koch Series in Political Economy at St. Lawrence University will host Edward P. Stringham who deliver his talk from 7:30 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, in Hepburn Auditorium, room 218. The event is free and open to the public.
Stringham is the president of the American Institute for Economic Research, Davis Professor of Economic Organizations and Innovation at Trinity College, and editor of the Journal of Private Enterprise. He is the editor of two books and author of more than 70 journal articles, book chapters, and policy studies. His work has been discussed on more than 100 broadcast stations, including CBS, CNBC, CNN, Headline News, NPR and MTV.
Stringham’s lecture is titled “The Origins of Stock Exchanges as Self-Regulatory Organizations.”
