History Prof. to Take Part in Brookings Event
Matthew Carotenuto, professor of history, takes part in a live Brooking Insitution's Africa Security Initiative event at 10 a.m. on Aug. 12, examining the security status of six nations: Ethiopia, Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Africa, Kenya, and Tanzania.
With approximately half of sub-Saharan Africa’s population between them, the political environments and the stability of these countries shed considerable light on the overall prospects for the continent.
The event is to be broadcast live on C-SPAN.
