English Prof. Publishes Article on Trudeau's Autobiography
Mark Sturges, assistant professor of English, published an article in the Cornell University Press journal New York History on the autobiography of tuberculosis doctor Edward Livingston Trudeau, which was titled An Autobiography.
Sturges wrote, "An Autobiography (1915) depicts Trudeau as both nineteenth-century sportsman and turn-of-the-century scientist—Gilded Age alter egos that he adopted at pivotal moments in his struggle against tuberculosis."
