English Prof. Interviewed for Women's Health Care Blog

Paul Graham '99, associate professor of English, was interviewed by the blog "Disruptive Women in Health Care" to discuss his book, In Memory of Bread (Penguin Random House, 2016).

The blog is written by a group of female healthcare professionals dedicated to seeking out blind spots, gaps, and wrong assumptions in healthcare.

Graham wrote it after being diagnose with celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder caused by a sensitivity to gluten. In the book, he connects his own experiences with the disease to the broader historical and cultural experiences with wheat, bread and other gluten-containing grains.
