Biology Professor's Cat Collar Research Featured in 'The Atlantic'

A recent study by Susan Willson, associate professor of biology, on the use of colorful collars to prevent cats from killing birds was shared in The Atlantic.

Willson's research into the use of collars designed and manufactured by Birdsafe showed that 87 percent of birds were protected when cats wore the collars. Her research was published in the January 2015 edition of Global Ecology and Conservation.
