Adjunct Prof. Extends Master Naturalist Volunteer Training
Paul Siskind, adjunct assistant professor, became a Master Naturalist in 2017. He has now gone on to complete 66 additional hours of volunteering and 18 hours of training to reach Levels 2 and 3.
As part of an independent project, Siskind located populations of native/wild lilies in St. Lawrence county and collected preliminary baseline data about infestations of these populations by the invasive Lily Leaf Beetle. He also volunteers with a number of other organizations, including the Higley Flow Association and the Clarkson-Potsdam Garden Club.
