Students in Robin Rhodes-Crowell’s pedagogy class, LANG 4001/EDUC 4002 will present sixteen new countries for the ESL course story map at the Festival of Scholarship and Creativity on April 29, 2016 at 1:45 in Carnegie 10. The map now represents teaching English in thirty-one countries around the world. The map can be viewed here.

The map is a collaborative project of the students in Robin Rhodes-Crowell’s Critical Aspects of Teaching English as a Second Language class. This map is a summary of full papers addressing issues such as socio-cultural considerations and appropriate teaching pedagogy, educational frameworks, situational analysis, and significant TESOL topics. In hopes that we will educate others on what teaching abroad entails, we have highlighted important information country by country, as well as given links to the full papers and our class teaching resource bibliography. All interested in more information can contact Robin Rhodes-Crowell, for more information. Annotated Bibliography Resource List
