St. Lawrence squash players, coaches, classmates and friends gathered in the Robie Squash Center on January 30, 2016, for the dedication of the Dordelman Championship Court. Above, Bill Dordelman ’84, left, and Sally Black Dordelman ’84 happily unveiled the plaque, which reads, “Dordelman Championship Court / Named in honor of / Bill ’84 and Sally ’84 Dordelman / Proud supporters of Saints Squash / and St. Lawrence University.” Behind them are President William L. Fox ’75 and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation Bob Durocher M’94, who both offered thoughtful remarks.  Right, the Dordelmans were welcomed and thanked by squash team captains Tim Lasusa ’16, center, and Emily Terry ’17.

The Dordelmans, of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, live in what Sally Dordelman called “a perennial hotbed for elite squash players” in a Spring 2015 St. Lawrence article. “We hope that the association of our name with the squash court (will) be helpful in student recruitment,” she said. Bill Dordelman, longtime senior vice president and treasurer at Comcast Corp., added that the family “wanted to be part of the ongoing progress around campus.”
