Internships Thrive with Alumni and Parent Support

Student internship opportunities continue to expand with the support of alumni. Tanner Tomasi ’19 of Durham, New Hampshire, was selected for the Pardee Internship Fellowship. He interned this summer at Jakett, a clothing company in New York City. Mehrsa Kheibary ’17 of Tehran, Iran, received the Vivien Gardner Hannon Internship Fellowship and interned this summer with Linda Barnett ’83 at Global Goods Partners, a fair-trade nonprofit company in New York City that sells handmade products made by women from economically marginalized communities around the world.

These, along with other Internship Fellowship Awards, promote leadership and career development opportunities for undergraduate students and help to offset living and transportation costs during the student’s experience.
