Inuksuit: Silent Messengers of the Arctic

The Owen D. Young Library and Launders Science Library are home to a number of significant works of art from the University’s permanent collection, made possible through the Richard F. Art Brush Gallery's active campus display program and featuring works by such well-known artists as Joseph Stella, Isamu Noguchi, Harold Edgerton, and Nathan Farb.  Artworks from the permanent collection are also displayed thematically elsewhere on campus including the Johnson Hall of Science, the Peterson Center for International and Intercultural Studies in Carnegie Hall, and Admissions in Payson Hall.

A lively selection of woodcuts by recent St. Lawrence students is featured in Vilas Hall.  Displays of art by students and alumni are also located in the formal lounge of Dean Eaton Hall and the Writing Center in the ODY Library.
